It may seem obvious, but the charger should be sited where you park your EV, this could be a private driveway to the side or front of your property, or garage. When positioning, think about where the cable plugs in to your car (is it at the front, side, at the back?) and how you intended to park your car - do you prefer to reverse or drive in-to your driveway? Lastly, think about where the cable will lay when connected to your car. Ideally the cable shouldn't present a trip hazard, or block gates/access.
